Moving Day

THE POD HAS ARRIVED!!
After 4 weeks on a boat, the POD was delivered safe and sound, with the only possessions we chose to keep. We sold off everything else we owned and kept only a 16 x 8 foot of belongings for a family of 10. "Everything you need is here" is one of my peaceful quotes, and that rings true as the POD is unloaded.

Chris is a MASTER of packing and organization. We have moved 15 times in 15 years...and have had a 'bit' of experience. That experience paid off as he meticulously used EVERY inch of space in packing this. He spent 3 days loading it precisely, and it took our family 1 1/2 hrs to unload it. Everything was in immaculate condition. Way to go CHRIS!!

The box unloading is done...all in 24 hrs! How's that for a move and unloading? Well, that's all we now own and brought! It sure does make life easier in many ways. The phrase "less is more" rings true in our possession arena. :)

Our new beautiful home and private driveway, into a protected little spot for our children to play and roam. We LOVE it!! The kids ride their scooters, Christians tricycle, and run and play all around the cul-de-sac and driveway. We truly feel so blessed and watched over to have found this home in the way it all happened. It was an answer to prayers and a miracle for our family. The perfect spot, with the exact criteria we envisioned and hoped for, for the safety and security for our family. We feel very blessed.

Our new Ford E-350, 15 passenger van...now we can FINALLY fit everyone comfortably into 1 vehicle. I LOVE this car. People who meet us ask:
"What kind of car do you drive to fit all those kids into?" the answer..."a 15 passenger van!" :)

Each day there are mists and small showers that last a few minutes and always ends with a beautiful rainbow and blue sky. We can see it right from our backyard!Lis and Emily in front of our new car: a 15 passenger van! (the only car that comfortably fits our family!)

Our new Mililani Mauka Home!
Mililani means "Mists of Heaven" in Hawaiian. Mauka means "Mountain".

The front yard with a little pond and waterfall, and a sidewalk that
wraps around the home for the scooters and bikes!
