Blowhole, Makaa'puhu Lookout, Waimanolo Beach and Blazin' Steaks! 8-19-11

Jacob needed to go on hike to earn his Arrow of Light, so he chose the hike up to Makaa'puhu Lookout. This hike is about 3 miles long, and looks over a lighthouse at the top and the beautiful ocean.
This is the lighthouse that is at the very top. It was an amazing hike!

Kings of the Mountain!!

Next to the famous Blowhole, there was a large rock formation you could go and walk on. It was really neat!

This is the bottom down by the blowhole. Some people were down there looking at it.

When we were at Waimanolo Beach, about 20 Chinese tourists came to look at the beach. They saw Emily and were going CRAZY! She was smiling and laughing for them, and they were surrounding her an mom. They wanted to hold her and were taking pictures and had video cameras going for about 10 minutes. Then they started taking pictures of Emily with my mom! They loved Emily's smile, her blue eyes, and white skin. Emily was famous!

This is our favorite restaurant on the whole island!
BLAZIN' STEAKS!
(It's also the only one that will feed our whole family!!)
Oishi yo!! Our favorite dish...Cheesy curry steak and rice with salad!! But Steve's and my favorite thing to get is Spicy cheesy steak with seaweed and rice and salad! A heavenly moment!:)
These are the wonderful Japanese cooks (husband and wife) that know us well! They are the only cooks there and make the best food! It was really cute, the lady knew that Steve didn't want ranch dressing, and knew what other things we were going to get! They are SO nice and really amazing people!
