First Day of School! (for 3 kids!)

Madelyn was so excited to go to her first day of 4th grade! There are 31 kids in her class, and seven fourth grade classes! There is 1,100 kids in their elementary school...WOW!
Katelyn is happy to be in her 2nd grade class with her new teacher, Ms. Oka.
Arent' they so cute?!
This is their huge elementary school. It is two stories high, and looks more like a mini college campus than an elementary school!

Tradition here in Hawaii schools is to remove your shoes before entering the classroom. Here is all of the children's lined up in front of their room.
Katelyn eagerly goes into her new classroom. In second grade, she will be learning Japanese, Hawaiian and Latin languages. Madelyn will be studying Japanese language and Hawaiian cultural studies. Amazing!

Steve at his first day of school at Mililani High School.
Steve chose to take one full year of Japanese and Honors Biology class.
Before they went to class, the principals, vice principals and counselors had a orientation for all of the new 9th graders with a band and cheerleaders.

The girls came home so excited to tell us about their day.
